Coaches, this is what you've been looking for to keep your athletes ready for competition in a safe no strikes format for your competitors! Our Training Event Seminar format features a round robin competition with matchups of Three Rounds, 2 minutes each. Fast pace, nonstop action, chained subs & reversals. All Styles of Grapplers and MMA Fighters facing off in a new tournament training event!

SUBMISSION GRAPPLING RULES
Round Robin Tournament Open
• NO SLAMMING OR SPIKING YOUR OPPONENT DIRECTLY ON THEIR HEAD OR NECK
• NO FLYING SCISSOR TAKEDOWNS
• NO SMALL JOINT MANIPULATION
• NO STRIKES OF ANY KIND
• NO GRABBING OR ATTACKING THE TRACHEA/WINDPIPE DIRECTLY
• NO COVERING THE NOSE AND MOUTH WITH YOUR HAND
• ALL GRAPPLING SUBMISSIONS ARE ALLOWED
ALL MATCHES ARE SUBMISSION ONLY NO POINTS
Up to 3 Judges cageside or Referee will score the match in its entirety. If a match does not end in a
submission, the three criteria the judges look at are -

Quality Submission Attempts
Positional Dominance
All matches are three 2-minute rounds with 30 seconds breaks. Warrior is a Training Seminar Event with the goal of providing an environment similar to cage sports for improving or maintaining grappling proficiency in the cage. All Competitors will wear MMA gloves, mouthpiece, and cup. Competitors without required uniform will be disqualified, no exceptions.*
*In the event of a single Round Robin Tournament ALL COMPETITORS WILL FACE EACH OTHER.
**In the event of two or more Round Robin Tournaments, the winners of each bracket will face off in semifinals and finals.
*** Only the FINALS Match will be 5 ROUNDS.
**** In the event of no submission after regular time, A BLUE/RED COIN WILL DECIDE WHO GETS FIRST CHOICE OF TWO 30 SECOND POSITIONAL CHOICE MINI ROUNDS. In the event of no submission after that, the bout will go to the fighter with the fastest escape time from the ground starting position to a full standing position free from the cage. If there are no escapes to a free standing position the bout will be decided by referee/judges.

(In the event of uneven brackets, be prepared to go to a Madison style system of mixed weight bracketing.)

Top 2 Competitors advance to Finals in Single Round Robin. In Multiple Round Robins, top competitor advances in Tournament.

Top 2 composite total scores advance to Finals (Single Round Robin).
ALL FIGHTERS MUST HAVE A COACH/CORNER WHO IS MEDICALLY RESPONSIBLE PRESENT AND ATTENDING THE SHOW IN ORDER TO COMPETE.
EACH CONSECUTIVE DECISION IS VALUED LESS. EXAMPLE BELOW.
1ST DECISION: 0.9 POINTS
2ND DECISION: 0.8 POINTS
3RD DECISION: 0.7 POINTS
4TH DECISION: 0.6 POINTS
Rules are revised yearly or as needed by the WCG Rules Advisors Team.
The WARRIOR CG Rules Advisors Team is a Private Not for Profit Independent Auditory & Advisory Board. Its members are accomplished Combat Sports Fighters, Coaches, Gym Owners, and Promoters. Board members serve as Referees, Officials, Judges, and in Regulatory Capacities of Promotions in the sport of Jiu Jitsu Cage Grappling. Warrior Cage Grappling is proud to have the support of the WARRIOR CG Rules Advisors for the conduct and supervision of its events.

WCG Reservation Options
$100 Reservation - $1000 Sponsorship eligibility
$200 Reservation - $2000 Sponsorship eligibility
$300 Reservation - $3000 Sponsorship eligibility
$3000 Sponsorship Eligibility - only available for competitors who have been pre-approved by the promoter with all 1st minute/1st round subs.
- (Must sell 10 WARRIOR Tshirts ($20 ea) to be eligible for additional $1000 + default $1000 Sponsorship = $2000 Total WARRIOR Sponsorship) Must transfer Tshirt sales money to promotions coordinator day before the show. Tshirts sold on the day of show will not count towards your 10 required sales
WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY FORM
ALL FIGHTERS MUST HAVE A COACH/CORNER WHO IS MEDICALLY RESPONSIBLE PRESENT AND ATTENDING THE SHOW IN ORDER TO COMPETE.
I hereby declare that I understand and assume all risks involved in participating in the submission grappling tournament called WARRIOR CAGE GRAPPLING, including but not limited to, the risk of serious injury, paralysis, or death. I further acknowledge that I will be competing at the host location venue, secured by WARRIOR CAGE GRAPPLING, at my own risk. I understand that the sport of Jiu Jitsu Submission Grappling within WARRIOR CAGE GRAPPLING and related activities, may cause bruising, sprains, fractures, or other injuries to me. At the same time, I also declare myself to be physically capable of performing in the tournament and free from any disease that may prohibit me from strenuous activities.
I also declare I have appropriate personal primary medical insurance fully covering any injury I may sustain. I fully assume these risks and waive any and all claims I may have against WARRIOR CAGE GRAPPLING, the tournament or EVENT VENUE, and any affiliated parties, declared or undeclared including their instructors, officers, agents, servants, contractors, or volunteers, for any injury or damages that may arise during or after my participation in this competition, event, seminar, or class. I also agree to follow all the rules and regulations set forth by the tournament.
Videography & Photography Release: I hereby consent to the photographing, audio recording, or filming of my participation in WARRIOR CAGE GRAPPLING by WARRIOR CAGE GRAPPLING or third-party media. I understand that these images and audiovisual recordings may be used for promotional, educational, or commercial purposes without any compensation to me. I hereby waive all rights to inspect or approve the finished product and any matter included therein nor solicited. I have carefully read the foregoing release and understand its contents.
I understand once submitting this RESERVATION I agree to compete if selected by the WARRIOR CAGE GRAPPLING team and that the drop out policy is therefore in effect as well as the late arrival policy. I understand the location of where the event is hosted and have appropriate transportation to attend on time. I understand I cannot be accompanied by any unauthorized guest of any kind without express permission given.
I agree to this release voluntarily and without exception on the date I submit this RESERVATION.
